Videuphoria: Revisited (and Revisited: Revisited!)

Yeah, I bet you guys had forgotten about the Revisited series, huh? Letting it slowly sink away into the abyss of the post archives... Well, perhaps it's high time we revisited the Revisited series! Hopefully, if all goes as planned, you guys will be seeing a lot more of the Revisited series again, especially since the post number has now hit three digits and I am closing in on 400 followers! Thanks to you guys; I could not have done it without you! Well, maybe I could have. The world will never know...

What we do know is that today's Revisited post is on the blog Videuphoria, a blog that attempts to push your YouTube addiction to the edge like a knocked-up crack whore at a cocaine candy shop (can I even say that on here?). Fret not, though, young addict: Videuphoria will continue to intravenously pump video content into your bloodstream, so that you never have to go without!

So, without any further ado (and so that maybe you won't bite my finger off in your weird little videuphoric withdrawals), I present to you a video from the Videuphoria site itself!

Interesting Life Hacks, Infographics & Links

A little less than a week ago, I posted about "A little bit of this and not so much of that," a blog that focused on no particularly topic or niche. Now, I am not usually one to subject you to random blogs so frequently, my blogographers, but I am afraid I have come across another good one. :P
 
This one is Interesting Life Hacks, Infographics & Links, a blog whose purpose seems to be explained by the title. The blog is not entirely random, as it focuses on the three things listed above; other than that, though, it is a free-for-all.

The blog appears to be written by a paulz, a man of fewer words than pictures and videos. As shown through his posts, he prefers to let the media of the internet speak for itself rather than blather away incessantly about it. Gotta respect a man who can be succinct!

If you want something to keep you entertained throughout a boring day, then I would definitely recommend paulz's Life Hacks, Infographics & Links!

Nostalgic Video Games

Today's feature on Blogographer is another video game blog (yes, another), but it's not just any ol' video game blog. The internet is inundated with blogs about gamers and gaming news, though every once in a while you come across an older games blog.

The one I've stumbled upon goes by the name of Nostalgic Video Games, a rather simple blog name. From what I can see, it's written by a one D_Homes (though older posts are attributed to 'Kryptic' whom I assume is the same person), who isn't a half-bad writer in my opinion.

One Four Zero

So I happened to be talking to an internet acquaintance of mine from the Philippines, and he linked me to his blog. Many blogs I get linked to are half-baked attempts at a little internet infamy, and quickly crumble away. However, when I checked out his blog, I was pleasantly surprised.

I found that it was very well done, with a custom layout and all. It's not a bad layout at all, either, if you ask me. So, I decided to do a bit of reading through his posts, and I get my second shocker: they're well-written!

Kotaku, the Gamer's Guide

Welcome to the third and final post in the Gamer Week series here on Blogographer! The previous two features in the series were Destructoid and That VideoGame Blog; check them out to get up-to-date on the Gamer Week featured blogs.

Today's post is on an incredibly well-known blog, especially in the videogaming industry: Kotaku. This particular blog is actually a part of a larger network of sites known as the Gawker Media blog network. Previously reviews blogs in the Gawker Media include Jalopnik, an automobile blog, and Gizmodo, a technology and gadgetry blog.

Destructoid

Gamer Week here on Blogographer, which featured the blog That VideoGame Blog last update, continues on with today's feature: Destructoid. Looking at the page header, I see the blog's somewhat cliché tagline, which reads, "For Gamers. By Gamers." Being a gamer myself, I say that I'll be the judge of that.

My first impression isn't one of being... well, impressed. My sight is immediately barraged by adverts from all angles, whether it be the background or the foreground. It takes a few moments for my eyes to adjust to determining between what is actually part of the blog and what is Best Buy's attempts at grabbing my attention. Not a great start.

The distracting layout of the entire page confuses me for a moment, so I decide to try jumping into the blog through any point I can, in hopes that I can orient myself in the clutter. Seeing the marquee scroll to featured post #2 on the main page, titled, "How I learned to stop worrying and die," I click the oddly irrelevant picture of Bill Murray having his bottom lip tugged on and I am rushed to the article.
