candy for breakfast
Everybody likes to have a good laugh, right? Look at sites that are/were popular, like reddit, icanhascheezburger, and funnyjunk; all examples of places were a lot of funny stuff goes down (even if on reddit, it is often unintentional). Few things are as straight-up funny as comics are on the internet, though. VG Cats, Ctrl+Alt+Del, and Penny Arcade for the gamers out there; Explosm/Cyanide and Happiness for the rest of ya!
Smaller sites are often forgotten about on the internet, as we all know. Comics that are not as instantly successful or popular as the ones I mentioned above usually float in some sort of limbo. They are very under-appreciated, but there is one thing we can do to help out those out there who do not get enough good word solely on their work: spread the word!

A Tuesday Laugh
Hey there, blogographers. I think you guys deserve a break from the serious tempo of this blog every now and again, so I believe we should give ourselves a bit of a chuckle or chortle, maybe even squeals and giggles. I dedicate Tuesdays on this blog to having a laugh about (what else?) blogging.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

One Four Zero
So I happened to be talking to an internet acquaintance of mine from the Philippines, and he linked me to his blog. Many blogs I get linked to are half-baked attempts at a little internet infamy, and quickly crumble away. However, when I checked out his blog, I was pleasantly surprised.
I found that it was very well done, with a custom layout and all. It's not a bad layout at all, either, if you ask me. So, I decided to do a bit of reading through his posts, and I get my second shocker: they're well-written!

The Digital Bullshit of Killerkun

WARNING: Today's blog may contain NSFW material. Please continue with caution.
Today's featured blog is The Digital Bullshit of Killerkun, an art blog by the eponymous Killerkun (a super-awesome Art Institute drop-out!). In addition to showcasing some of the art he creates, it serves as a somewhat personal blog. Every post seems to contain some sort of interesting artwork of his, with a little bit of post.
If you like what you see from the pictures in this post, then please visit The Digital Bullshit of Killerkun and let him know! I'm sure he would much appreciate it.

L.A. Noire Videos

The answer to the question is L.A. Noire. Of the game, Wikipedia says, "As the title suggests, the game draws heavily from both plot and aesthetic elements of film noir - stylistic films from the 1940s and 1950s that shared similar visual styles and themes including crime, sex and moral ambiguity and were often shot in black and white with harsh, low-key lighting. The game uses a distinctive coloring-style in homage to the visual style of film noir. The post-war setting is the backdrop for plot elements that reference the detective films of the '40s, such as corruption and drugs, with a classical jazz soundtrack."
Of course, this game has spawned many posts on blogs and on the internet in general. One particularly interesting post is not just a post at all - rather, an entire blog, focused on L.A. Noire. It flaunts mostly pictures and videos, but there is an occasional tidbit of information. If you're interested in the newest project for the notorious Rockstar, check out L.A. Noire Videos.

Birthday Time
Today was my birthday!
Unfortunately, that means I will not be posting any blog reviews. Sorry. Updates will continue as normal next Wednesday, so just keep your pants on until then.
Hasta miercoles ('Until Wednesday' for those of us who are espanol-illiterate),
